Volunteering at Franklin County Medical Center

We appreciate your interest in volunteering with us and making a difference in our community. At Franklin County Medical Center, we offer various volunteer roles in the following areas:

  • Hospice (Hospice volunteers require a federal background check and fingerprinting.)
  • Public Relations
  • Event Preparation
  • Transitional Care Unit

Volunteer Experiences

FCMC Volunteer Members have the chance to be a part of many different experiences.

There are various areas where you can contribute your service, including:

  • Simply Gifts (Gift Shop)
  • Quilt Raffles
  • FCMC Community Blood Drive
  • Bingo and Bunco games in Long Term Care
  • Music Therapy in Long Term Care
  • Idaho Days and Fair Sales
  • Special holiday sales, such as “The Witches Kitchen”
  • Home Health & Hospice Volunteer (Hospice volunteers require a federal background check and fingerprinting.)
  • Minimum length of service: 1 year

Volunteer Requirements

To ensure the best volunteer experience for you and those you’ll be working with, we have the following requirements:

  • Submit an application form, including references
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Status Certificate Form
  • Complete TB Test
  • Must be 19 years of age
  • Interview with the Volunteer Coordinators
  • Commitment to Serve 3-5 hours per month
  • Shirts/Jackets/Vests Required and provided by the facility
  • Picture taken for FCMC name badge
  • Adhere to FCMC policies
